Ariana Madix reacts to Kelly Ripa, Mark Consuelos poking fun at Scandoval drama

“Vanderpump Rules” star Ariana Madix is laughing about Scandoval thanks to Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos.

After the couple parodied the fallout from Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss’ affair during Tuesday’s episode of “Live with Kelly and Mark,” Madix responded by calling their work “incredible.”

“I’ve been watching Kelly Ripa since I was very, very young, and I’ve always looked up to her and thought, ‘Wow, her career is so amazing,'” she said in an interview with Us Weekly Wednesday.

“So, the fact that she even knows who I am, that’s just awesome. … I’m like, ‘What the heck? This is insane.'”

Ripa, 53, and Consuelos, 52, dressed up as Madix, 38, and Sandoval, 41, to poke fun at their Season 10 breakup plus the show’s dramatic reunion.

“The fact that [Kelly Ripa] even knows who I am, that’s just awesome. … I’m like, ‘What the heck? This is insane,’” she told Us Weekly in an interview published Wednesday.
The “Vanderpump Rules” star also described the spoof as “incredible.”

Ripa repeated some of the insults Madix hurled at Leviss during the reunion, including the infamous moment she dubbed the former beauty queen “diabolical, demented [and] subhuman.”

Meanwhile, Consuelos had fun mocking Sandoval’s mustache and white manicure.

The affair between the TomTom co-owner and Leviss broke in early March, shocking “Pump Rules” fans.

The aftermath resulted in Leviss filing a restraining order against Scheana Shay, who she claimed punched her in Madix’s defense at the time.

After she withdrew the restraining order and the dust had settled from the upset, Leviss quit “Pump Rules” and she admitted herself into a mental rehab center in Arizona. She and Sandoval also broke up.

Leviss and Sandoval have both since apologized to Madix, and Leviss entered a mental rehabilitation center in April to work on herself.

Although the affair left Madix absolutely gutted, she told Us Weekly last month the ordeal made her realize how strong she is.

“This situation made me realize that I can do hard things,” she stated. “The worst-case scenario literally did happen, and I was OK. Like, look — you can handle what’s thrown at you.”

The “Dancing With the Stars” contestant expressed a similar sentiment when she first broke her silence following the affair news on Instagram.

Madix said although the situation was unbelievably hard, she now knows she can handle any obstacle that comes her way.

“To say i have been devastated and broken is an understatement. however, i know that i am not in this alone,” she penned in a March 16 caption alongside a photo of herself looking beautiful in a pink and green gown.

“So many of my closest friends are also grieving this loss right now and reeling from this betrayal on so many levels. i am so f–king lucky to have the best support system in the world and i hope i can repay every single person for the love you have shown me.”

She concluded, “What doesn’t kill me better run.”

Sandoval and Madix — who has since moved on with Daniel Wai — had been dating for almost 10 years.
