Keough appears to have died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in Calabasas, law enforcement sources told TMZ.

The death of her son left Lisa Marie “entirely heartbroken, inconsolable and beyond devastated,” her manager, Roger Widynowski, said in a statement.

“She adored that boy. He was the love of her life,” Widynowski said.

Keough, who bore a striking resemblance to his rock-legend grandfather, remained largely out of the spotlight throughout his life.

He followed in his mother and grandfather’s footsteps and pursued a career as a musician.

In 2009, Keough landed a $5 million deal with Universal Records to pump out five albums.

When he first inked the deal, Keough told London’s Telegraph newspaper he had no intention of channeling his famed grandfather’s rockabilly style.

“The music will be nothing like Elvis, nothing like him at all,” Keough told Australia’s Daily Telegraph newspaper.

But no music appeared to have been released from the deal, Variety reported.

Keough was the son of Lisa Marie and her first husband, musician Danny Keough. He had three siblings, including Riley Keough, 31, an actress who starred in the drama series “The Girlfriend Experience.”

In June 2019, Lisa Marie posted a picture to Instagram of herself with all four children.“Mama Lion with cubs,” the mother wrote.

Lisa Marie had her two youngest children, 11-year-old twin girls Finley and Harper, with estranged husband Michael Lockwood, a guitarist. She has also been married to Michael Jackson and Nicolas Cage.
