Even duchesses love a bargain souvenir.
Meghan Markle showed off her relaxed travel style as she arrived in Atlanta with Prince Harry on Monday after vacationing in the Caribbean, wearing a casual black maxi dress with some designer accessories — and a $15 tote from her trip.
The Duchess of Sussex, 42 — who visited the island of Canouan in St. Vincent and the Grenadines with the Duke of Sussex, 39 — wore a Bleusalt Long Sleeved Crew Dress ($220) and carried a bag that read “Cream of the Islands” as she stepped off their private flight.
The tote, which was crafted by the mother/daughter team of Alethea and Bernice John of A&B Boutique, per the Seven Council Fires Native Art website, is made from upcycled Cream of the Islands-brand flour sacks.
The recycled style quickly sold out thanks to the Meghan Effect, but a larger version is still available for $10.
Markle styled her sustainable tote with some decidedly pricier pieces, wearing an Hermès Brides de Gala Shawl ($1,218) around her neck and the same French fashion house’s Oran Sandals ($700) on her feet.
The Duchess of Sussex carried a straw hat in her hand and wore her hair pulled back in a loose knot, shading her eyes with black sunglasses.
This isn’t the first time in recent days Markle has opted for a high-low look, with the duchess sporting a pair of $790 Hermès sneakers with black Frame skinny jeans and a sleeveless J.Crew sweater ($98) during September’s Invictus Games in Germany.
She also gave a Zara playsuit a designer twist during the event by adding black Saint Laurent sandals ($725) and a new Brilliant Earth gold pendant ($995) featuring her astrological sign.
Monday’s airport sighting comes after the Sussexes were spotted by a fan while out and about in Canouan, with the duchess wearing a $6,650 ivory lace Chloé dress and the same white Goyard tote she carried during an August outing.
Their vacation follows a busy — and stylish — period for the Duchess of Sussex, who traveled to NYC last week for a World Mental Health Day event with Prince Harry.
