It’s the sweater that keeps on talking.
Sophia Bush chose some meaningful knitwear as she arrived at LAX Wednesday, wearing the same black sheep sweater Princess Diana famously sported in the ’80s amid her shocking divorce and new relationship with soccer star Ashlyn Harris.
The “One Tree Hill” actress, 41, wore the bright red sweater by Warm & Wonderful ($248) in photos obtained by TMZ, with the playful pattern featuring a series of white sheep with one black animal standing out.
When Princess Diana first wore the iconic top to a polo match it was seen as a sign of the royal making it known that she didn’t fit into the royal family — and perhaps Bush is feeling the same way after it was revealed she was seeing Harris, 38, two months after splitting from Grant Hughes, her husband of just a year.
The “Chicago P.D.” star paired her sweater with black jeans, covering her face with a black mask and wearing her hair in a low ponytail as she loaded her suitcases into a waiting car.
While Diana made her sheep sweater — which sold for a record-breaking $1.1 million at auction last month —a hit in the eighties and inspired plenty of knockoffs, the OG design finally returned in 2020 when Warm & Wonderful reissued the iconic style Bush sported at the airport.
The “Good Sam” star isn’t the only famous face to sport a sheepish sweater; Harry Styles wore a knit Lanvin vest with a similar pattern and John Legend has rocked the same design in a crewneck version.

As for her split, Bush shocked fans when she filed for divorce from Hughes less than 2 months after their one-year wedding anniversary in June.
However, a rep told Page Six that Hughes “will always want the best for Sophia, and is supportive of all that makes her happy and fulfilled.”
Harris — who recently retired from the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team — is also newly single after Page Six broke the news that she had filed for divorce from her wife of four years, Ali Krieger, in September.
